Four Sunni prisoners of conscience were removed from Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to reports, the four men, Afshin Antazari, Fakhroddin Ghafouri, Nasseri Hosseinpur and Vafa Ayeli, were removed from Hall 10 of Rajai Shahr prison on Tuesday 10 December 2013. They were then taken to an unknown location.
The four men, who were all from the city of Bukan, West Azerbaijan Province of Iran, were arrested on 19 October 2012 by agents from the Ministry of Intelligence.
After more than a year of imprisonment without trial, they had been summoned last week to branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary court, headed by judge Mohammad Moghisseh.
There is no information about the whereabouts or condition of the four men.
